Origine
In this work joy is not something fully revealed.
Forms emerge and retreat, suggest themselves, overlap. Some areas are clear, others remain veiled. Not everything is defined. Not everything is exposed.
I thought about what we choose to bring outward and what we prefer to keep within — not as a heavy secret, but as personal space.
There is a particular joy in having something that remains yours.
An inner mystery.
A part that does not need to be explained.
The organic forms resemble cells, layers, partial openings. It is as if the surface allows glimpses, but not completely. It is not hiding — it is protecting.
Joy here is intimate.
It is knowing that inside you there is still something that belongs only to you.
Something you may share — or not.
It is freedom.
Because not every light must be exposed.
Some lights shine more brightly when they remain within.
