Fernando Gallucci
Fernando Gallucci brings to his art everything that moves within him: emotions, memories, inner landscapes.
Born in Buenos Aires and now based in Varese, he has lived the world through travel. His career in a major multinational company led him across many countries in Latin America and beyond—encounters, cultures, colors, and visual architectures that shaped his gaze and nurtured his artistic calling.
Photography was his first natural language. Through the lens, he learned to tell the world as he feels it rather than as it appears. His works, exhibited in Brazil, Argentina, England and Italy, reveal his sensibility and offer others a fresh, unexpected and intimate perspective.
When the world came to a standstill in 2020, his journeys stopped as well—yet his creative urgency did not. He began translating emotions into digital drawings, until he felt the need to return to matter. The canvas became his new territory: a space where he could touch, layer, stain, and dance with colour. Every gesture is physical; every brushstroke carries rhythm, intention and energy.
Geometric forms—an echo of his technical background—intertwine with the hues drawn from the cultures he has lived: soft lights, warm tones, contrasts, vibrations. By combining mixed media—acrylics, pastels, spatulas, pencils—he moves beyond the material plane, entering a deeper, almost spiritual dimension.
